Court case scenario played out at conference

Pharmacy lawyers from Charles Russell Speechlys put together a summary of key points from the three days of the judicial review case against the Department of Health, to help people understand the elements of the case. This was presented at the company’s annual conference.

Below is a five-minute video, taken from the audience by P3, giving a flavour of the opening part of the presentation, with David Reissner putting the PSNC and NPA cases, and Noel Wardle putting the Department of Health’s case.

At the conference 65 per cent of pharmacy delegates thought that the PSNC and NPA were unlikely to win the judicial review.

Delegates were also asked if they felt their pharmacies would meet the new Quality Payment criteria: 63 per cent predicted they will achieve the criteria, 23 per cent thought they would only partially meet the targets, and 10 per cent ‘didn’t know’.
